CONFESSIONS · 2026-10-20
My love moves toward you
before I can teach it restraint.
It asks if you are okay
even when I know
you may not be ready
to tell me the truth.
It remembers
what made you tired,
the things you said in passing,
the burdens you tried
to make sound smaller.
It leaves a light on
in my mind
for the chance
that you might return
and need someone to listen.
You may never see
how often I make room for you
inside an ordinary day.
But you are there—
in the concern I cannot switch off,
in the tenderness
that keeps reaching for you
before I even decide to.

BECOMING · 2026-10-16
I realized
what my heart is capable of.
I can love you,
pray for you,
and still choose
to move forward
with my own life.
I have come to a point
where I no longer know
what else I can do.
I’ve said what I needed to say,
I’ve loved in the ways I know how,
and I’ve held on for as long as I could.
And maybe now,
the only thing left for me
is to surrender everything
to the Father Almighty.
Not because
I’ve stopped believing
in what could happen,
but because
I’ve finally accepted
that not everything
is mine to decide.
I’m still around.
I’m not going anywhere.
I will continue to care,
to wish you well,
and to remember you
in my prayers.
But this time,
I don’t want to force
the energy anymore.
I don’t want to keep reaching
for something that needs two people
to make it work.
I want to give you
the freedom to choose,
just as I am learning
to give myself
the freedom to live.
And if our paths
are meant to meet again,
I hope we’ll find each other
in a better place,
with hearts that are ready.
But if they don’t,
I will still be grateful
for everything
I was able to feel.
For now,
I’ll leave what I cannot control
in God’s hands.
I’ll keep loving
in the ways that I can,
without forgetting
that I have a life
to live, too.
And whatever comes next,
I’ll trust Him enough
to let it happen
His way,
not mine.

CONFESSIONS · 2026-10-02
I loved you in ways
I could not always hide.
I remembered the things you said
without asking myself to.
I noticed when your voice changed.
I wondered whether you got home safely,
whether you had eaten,
whether your day had been hard on you.
You occupied parts of my day
that I did not plan to give away.
And perhaps that was obvious.
Perhaps you could tell
by the way I looked for you,
by the way I stayed present
even when there was nothing important
left to say.
I did not love you halfway.
I did not know how to care for you
without letting it reach
the smallest parts of my life.
But I never wanted my love
to become something you had to carry.
I did not give it to you
so you would owe me anything.
I did not care for you
so you would choose me
out of guilt.
I only wanted you to know
that you mattered to me.
That there was someone
who saw you in ordinary moments
and still found you worth thinking about.
Maybe I gave too much of myself
to a feeling I could not name safely.
Maybe I made my heart visible
before I knew whether there was room for it
in yours.
But I cannot regret
the sincerity of what I felt.
Because every tenderness I gave you
was real.
And whatever it was to you,
to me,
it was nothing less than sincere.

FRAGMENTS · 2026-09-30
For a while,
I thought I could keep us alive
by trying harder.
So I kept reaching out.
I kept making space.
I kept finding ways to understand
the distance between us
without asking too much from you.
I held on to the smallest things.
A reply.
A moment of warmth.
A sign that you still cared
in the same way I did.
And whenever something felt different,
I told myself to be patient.
I told myself you were busy.
I told myself you needed time.
I told myself that if I stayed long enough,
we would find our way back
to each other.
But I was the only one
still trying to find the way.
You did not ask me to leave.
You did not ask me to stay.
You simply became harder to reach,
while I kept standing
in the same place,
hoping you would turn around.
I did not stop caring about you.
I just became tired
of carrying every conversation,
every hope,
every reason for us
to still mean something.
I became tired of feeling like
I had to keep proving
that what we had
was worth saving.
Maybe you were already letting go
in ways I did not want to see.
Maybe I was holding on
because I was afraid
that letting go would mean
I had failed you.
But this is not giving up.
It is letting love exist
without forcing one heart
to keep the entire connection alive.

FRAGMENTS · 2026-09-02
We ended things well.
At least, I thought we did.
So when you became quiet,
I did not know
what to do with it.
I was not asking
for more than you could give.
I was only wondering
if something had changed—
or if you were okay.

LOVE · 2026-08-18
II’ll still choose you,
even after you said,
“Goodbye.”
I’ll still choose you,
even after I said,
“I’m so hurt.”
I’ll still choose you,
even when my mind
keeps telling me,
“No.”
Because somewhere beneath
all the pain
and everything we lost,
I am still hoping
you will come back
and choose me, too.

GRIEF · 2026-08-16
You left
because you thought
I wasn’t enough for you.
You left
because you wanted
to be alone.
You left
because you no longer
had a reason to stay.
You left
because you learned
how to let go.

CONFESSIONS · 2026-08-15
I made something
out of the things
I could not say
without shaking.
Not to make you stay.
Not to ask you
for an answer
you were not ready to give.
I only wanted you
to know that somewhere
between your silence
and my hope,
there was a heart
trying to be honest.
Some pages were soft.
Some were painful.
All of them were real.
And even if you never
feel the same way,
I wanted my love
to exist somewhere
outside of me.

GRIEF · 2026-08-14
I left
because you simply
let me leave.
I left
because, in your silence,
you wished for me
to go away.
I left
because you said
you didn’t need me.
I left
because when I turned back,
I saw you
holding different hands.

BECOMING · 2026-08-10
I’m loving life.
Even more now,
when I’m hardly challenged,
when the days are quiet
and nothing feels particularly extraordinary.
I’m still loving it.
Maybe because, for once,
I’m not asking life to be more
than what it is.
I wake up.
I breathe.
I exist.
I notice the little things.
And somehow,
that’s enough to make me smile.
I don’t know how long
this season will last.
So for now,
I’m just here—
loving life while I still can.

FRAGMENTS · 2026-07-22
Right now,
I am just letting things be—
you receiving my love,
me receiving your silence.
Does it hurt?
Yes.
But I would rather
feel the ache honestly
than pretend
I do not care at all.
So I keep loving you
in the only way
I know how—
without asking
you anything in return.

LOVE · 2026-07-09
Is it okay
if this love longs?
I think it is—
for as long
as it is you.
Because longing for you
has never felt like
wanting too much.
It is in the quiet
after something happens,
when you are still
the first person
I wish I could tell.
It is in your silence—
how it leaves me
with all these small thoughts
and nowhere
to place them
but back in my heart.
I do not need
to turn this feeling
into something
you have to carry.
I only need to be honest:
if my heart
has to keep reaching
for someone,
I am glad
it is reaching
for you.
